It will be Robbie's delight to bring us fine dining in the out doors. We asked everyone to bring their own re-usable dish and spoon (maybe a spork), your blissware. We wish to lessen our impact by not having extra paper and plastic trash.

I know this sounds like science fiction or a conspiracy theory, but it's not. It is a complete reality and a huge danger to humanity. Please check out the following petition and sign it. Larry's been an inspiration to Nathan with his DJ sets and Nathan is very Adamant about booking him for our Upcomming events.

I have the opportunity to host a Psytrance room at my local venue "The Hudson" in San Bernardino. I Immediately extended this offer to a couple of my Favorite DJs from the Desert Underground, Lazar and Larry.

for the 99% of you that i've completely lost touch with in the last five years, here's the story: i was *not* in prison, in another state. i've been in school, learning things, for the benefit of all humankind and whatnot. [see my tribe profile for more on that if you need it]. that adventure ends on april 20th. the next day seems like a good day to throw a party, the way we used to do.

outdoors, outside, outlandish. over the rainbow, through the jaws of hell, and on to the pearly gates. but no one dies, you dig?

i am aiming for this to be free and free. but we might end up having to sell someones car. like, everybody who shows up gets a raffle ticket, and in the morning we do the raffle, and whoevers number is selected, we sell your car to pay for the party. i don't know. that might not be the best solution. everyone would probably just leave before the raffle.... :P

i'm still waiting to hear back from some of the music-makers (dj's), but so far it's all good news. i will update this post when things are more solid.

i look forward to seeing everybody, and dancing with you again, and getting really dirty.

In this workshop, trash and other random materials from the festival will
be used to make fun, twisted and original organic sculptures and

Brian Chandler will be hosting solar art workshops throughout the weekend.

Meditation with Matthew Smith
Meditation is a discipline that calms the mind and awakens the heart.
Different cultures throughout history have developed a myriad of forms and
techniques. This workshop will create a space where all practitioners
will be welcome to come and sit together in the beauty and silence of
nature. This is also a great opportunity for those who are curious about
meditation but have never had the chance to experience this simple and
transformative practice firsthand. Brief instruction will be given at the
beginning and after we sit, there will be an open discussion on
incorporating a meditation practice into daily life.

Matthew Smith has been studying and practicing meditation for more than a

Watching the advertising and media coverage of this year's crop of
political candidates, one is tempted to ask, "are these the best that
our nation has to offer?"

Next friday, November 10th, we of the Ninja Skillz collective intend to
prove otherwise. We seek a true representative sampling of this nation's
best and brightest. Individuals of honor, integrity, creativity and
blatant nonconformity. In other words, YOU.

But first things first. On November 7th it is *imperative* that you drag
yourself to the polls and pull that lever, punch that chad, ink that
bubble, or do whatever the hell you're supposed to do on those Diebold
machines. Then prepare to wash your hands thoroughly of the matter and
let your voice be heard through music and dance. No matter how it turns
out. No matter where you fall on the political spectrum. Whether you
feel that voting is your sacred birthright or a purely symbolic

We're calling all drummers, all fire dancers, all artists, all creative people in our art-oriented community, to come out and part-take in our 9 years of existence. We are extending this invite to LA Burners, as a big number of our members will be decompressing at our anniversary.

Integral Gathering, for the past 9 years, has served as grounds for light-minded individuals to gather and socialize; to connect with the spiritual being within us and our natural surroundings; commune with each-other through music, and dance in unity, on ONE dusty dance floor (to this day, we've never had two dance areas at IG); a place where we can be expressive through all forms of art alike (i.e. poetry, art installations, visuals, live performances, etc).

Integral Gathering takes also pride in its 9 year commitment to the rehabilitation and beautification of local forests (i.e. Los Angeles National Forest, Los Padres National Forest and the San Bernardino National Forest), in conjunctiong with the Forestry Service and U.S. Forest Rangers. In our 9 years in the making, Integral Gathering's Tree-Hugger Collective, has contributed to helping preserve our natural forests and healing our Mother Earth on a small scale. All together, we've planted over 20,000 trees in areas that have either been deforested either by man or by fires. In areas of winter recreation, we've hauled way over 10 tons of trash, to date, making the natural habitat of the local fauna a bit safer and clean. Let us continue our hard labour, which will end up being very rewarding for us all in the long-run, and our commitment to make a positive change.

CSULA Opera Theatre Presents... "La Canterina" and "Gigantes y Cabezudos"

Hello Everyone!

Sorry to be a bit impersonal for posting this general invite, and also allow me to ask for forgiveness for not having been able to keep in touch with y'all. I've been very busy, preparing to play the parts of Tio Isidro and also Jesus in Caballero's genero chico (one act zarzuela) masterpiece of "Gigantes y Cabezudos (Giants and Big Heads). And so, I'd like to extend an invitation to all those of you who are lovers and supporters of the Performing Arts, in particular opera and zarzuela.

CSULA Opera Theatre will be presenting two one acts; "La Canterina" (The Diva), in Italian with English subtitles, and also "Gigantes y Cabezudos" in Spanish/English with English/Spanish subtitles. The following is a schedule of dates and times of opera performances at Cal-State LA. These will be held at The State Playhouse located on campus, right next to the Music Department.

Integral Gathering will be having its new moon gathering from the 30 thru New Year's Day. After the new moon celebration, we will be having our New Year's celebration.

Pricing Advice

I'm thinking of selling my pyramid structure (I have several pics in my profile) and I'd like to hear what price you think it should have. Obviously it has alot of sentimental value for me and I imagine for others as well.

It's very weathered at this point but I would definitely make the greatest effort to make it look as new as possible. It's approx. 12 ft. tall and has a 10x10 ft. footprint. I created it to be used as a DJ booth/shade structure for outdoor gatherings. It has served it's purpose well. It's been set up at MANY incredible gatherings and has had many top psytrance artists as well as a variety of DJ's create unforgettable auditory experiences from within its walls. Perhaps some of you have seen it. The design and choice of materials was geared towards braving the elements and therefore "heavy-duty." I've also set it up as a sort of "chill area," on one occasion, with all the art work facing the inside of the structure and some blankets and pillows on the ground. It's done entirely in fluorescent paint using a combination of acrylics and spray paints. The fabric is a black velour type material. Not at all rigid like canvas. I was thinking, no less than $500.00.

It would be great if I also got responses from people who are familiar with appraising and the business side of the art world.

I should also add that it was conceptualized and created specifically for Blue Sky gatherings ;) No lie. Ahhhh, the memories.

Integral Gathering invites you to its Annual Thanksgiving Gathering: November 25-27

Greetings Peeps,

Integral invites you to it's traditional Thanksgiving weekend gathering. This will take place from Friday, November 25, thru Sunday, November 27, at a beautiful and permitted location (thanks to Skip).

In order to make this weekend gathering a magical and positive experience for you and the rest of us, please read below for information about our get together.

FOOD DONATION: Once more, Trader Joe's will be donating breakfast food for us. So, breakfast will be on TJ's; thanks for sharing! We would like to highly encourage potluck for all other meals.

LOCATION: Skip has come through for us with a very secure and permitted location. In addition, he has also rented portable toilets, as to minimize the waste impact on the land.

DJ LINE-UP/LIVE PERFORMERS: Johnny has been working really hard in putting together a nice line-up, made up of talented djs and live performers. There will be a nice variety of music genres being played throughout the weekend, and there will also be a few girl djs that will get to spin. There will also be open decks for a few hours, so those of you that would like to listen to a few of your favorite tracks out loud, or perform and recite poetry, etc, please feel free to do so.

Sound System: Orence will be providing us with sound. I believe someone else may also be bringing sound too. If that is the case, we will have a nice stack of speakers.
*Communal Kitchen Area: Who wants to help out?

*Shade Structures: It will get HOT during daytime. Please bring whatever shade structures you may want to bring. There is hardly any shade at this spot. (Those of you who were at the last Moontribe know this location).

*Need Volunteers: Parking Cars, Hauling Sound Equipment/Generators/Trash. This is your gathering; please help!

Visuals: if any of you would like to bring out your projectors and bring out visuals, by all means do.

*We need everyone's support and participation. Integral Gathering wouldn't be Integral without you. This is a community, family-based gathering that is made up of members from Integral, Moontribe, LA Burners, and other light-minded individuals who LOVE LIFE, the arts, music, the outdoors, the moon, the stars, and to dance in our California deserts and mountains, just to mention a few things.

This cost of this gathering is $400 for sound, $200 for use of private property, $180 in portable toilets, gas for the generators, and other expenses. The costs for making this gathering happen run close to $1,000. We ask that participants contribute towards the cost. Remember, this is your gathering; you are throwing this get together. Please help$$

Respect the land: the property we'll be camping at is private property. Please respect the land by leaving "no trace" whatsoever. In fact, we'll leave the spot "spotless".

Shovels, fire extinguishers: anyone willing to bring a shovel and/or fire extinguishers?

First Aid Kit: If you have a first aid kit, bring it out. God forbids, but there's always the possibility of someone needing first aid attention.

Art work: Please bring whatever type of artwork you may want to share with the rest of us.

Fire Dancers/Belly Dancers/Hoop Dancers/Poetry Readers are always welcome

there's something happening out in the forest at the end of this month, a
celebration of earth, life, music, and art, and everything that entails:
variable high winds, overnight lows, love, dance, blacklights and really loud
music. every summer we make a long weekend visit to Big Bear, (i think this is
our 6th year...), we do a group volunteer activity saturday morning in
cooperation with the San
Bernardino National Forest, then retire to a big beautiful campground, lay
around most of the afternoon enjoying the weather and the trees and some good
food, then ease our way into an evening/night/morning/afternoon of dancing.

here's the plot:

saturday morning
9am-2pm - volunteer activity "light cleaning" with Linda S. (big bear,
S.B.N.F.). light cleaning probably translates as picking up spent shells and
other shooting trash at some messed-up forest spot.

saturday afternoon
2-6pm - laying around, bullshitting, troublemaking
Larry S. (riverside grill works) - coordinating the BBQ and laying around

saturday thru sunday, music appreciation with DJ's:
6-9pm Too Many Christians (world-traveler, ambassador-at-large, Sierra Madre,
CA)
9-11pm Dj Feather (what happens at blue sky, stays at blue sky, Las Vegas, NV)

weather - big bear is cold a lot of the time... during the summer it will get
pretty warm during the day, and then really cold at night. plan accordingly.

there will be portapotties for your peeing and pooping pleasure, provided by
stormin' norman

there will be mighty sound, provided by the fine people of alien underground.

there will be no trash left at the campsite, provided by you and your
conscientious friends. we came to big bear to do a volunteer *clean-up*,
right?

play safe, the nearest hospital is far away over wind-y bumpy dirt roads.

if you're reading this going, "who? what?" don't worry about it, i'm
sure there's something *really* good on tv that weekend! :p

And then after the last Dj get in your car and go home, don't talk about it just
get the f*ck out the Forest with every little piece of trash, friends, memories,
pictures that you brought and took during our little journey in the Forest...

I see that Braden already posted a note that we were back in the USA but I wanted to formally say hello myself since it's been such a long time. I'm really looking forward seeing everyone soon and will most likely be at the next event in July.

Larry, I just scrolled through all 130 of the pictures you have up on this page, and wow, what memories! I also counted them and found that out of those 130 pics, I took 95 of them!!! That's over 71% more than 2/3rd's! HA! And you know what, I believe I have more! I'll go through my albums... Living in California we are very fortunate to have not one, but two
internationally recognized trance communities. Both special and unique
in their own ways.
These two scenes however function very independently of each other,
with out much influence or connection. We feel it is time to take
another step, and work towards bringing these communities closer

Max and Davina are a french couple, one of the only couples who produce
trance music today. They lived for few years in San Francisco where Max was

also one of the

Early announcement: Blue SKy/Unity II • July 30, 2005

This summer Blue Sky and Unity or Unity and Blue Sky coming back this year to get together for an Art/Psy music gathering. This year we are adding Art to comfort our healing process as a community. We also have a great line up of music for the night and into the morning. We will have food, porto-potties, music, art, and Motha Nature to comfort our festivities. As you know we will be celebrateing a few B-Days: Orly, Larry, Ed.. And those who are haveing your birthday, your welcome to celebrate with us..
At midnight we will be haveing Cake and Pinata....Please feel free to bring out your Art work, or if you know anybody who has Art, let them know what we will be doing for the whole weekend. Also want to invite the drum circle familys out there, we will campout friday night, which will be haveing a drum circle. This will be a permitted area. I will be sending out more info as time goes on.. Also for those who want more info on bringing their Art or helping with other activities.

OMG blue sky wow i haven't heard anything from you all since i used to hang in palm springs with some friends of mine. man i remember the last one of your gatherings i went to was in big bear and we spent a whole day picking up shot gun shells....it might not sound like a whole lot of fun, but it was.
